The most difficult part of the NeuroStrucutral cases we accept in our office is not whether we can make a single correction. It is whether the body has the ability to hold and stabilize that correction in order to make a long-term sustainable solution.
Patients usually come in with structural and physiological baggage from having a Structural Shift that has been left uncorrected for a long period of time. This makes it harder for patients to HOLD their adjustments.
Most commonly, we see Secondary Conditions such as disc degeneration, spinal arthritis, headaches, neuropathy, and muscle pain as a result of unchecked and uncorrected Structural Shifts in the spine.
This is exactly why we check children in our office for underlying Structural Shifts.
Most children have very little baggage and can have easier corrections then adults who have a history of degeneration and detrimental muscle memory.
Children that get checked avoid most of the Secondary Conditions that afflict our adult patients
AND
They need FEWER adjustments and hold their corrections for LONGER periods of time.
Our specific correction is tailored to each patient – adult or child – and as a result is safe and effective.
The most common signs for children with a Structural Shift are digestive issues (constipation/diarrhea/reflux), difficulty concentrating, and headaches.
As Benjamin Franklin once said, “An ounce of Prevention is worth a Pound of Cure.”
