Is this what the rest of his life is going to be like?
Doctor after doctor, specialist after specialist, we kept hearing, “ I don’t know what’s going on.” We couldn’t get any answers. This was what it was like for 3 years. He was constantly sick. Colds, sinus infections. On top of all of that he was having pain in his legs. He would tell me “ I can’t walk mommy, my legs hurt.” He was hospitalized twice during this time and was taking Motrin to get through the day.
Emmeline, my youngest, had fluid in her ears for months. Enough for the doctor to be concerned about her speech and development. They even gave us a referral for an ENT and they were planning to put tubes in her ears. She would get colds that would last for weeks at a time. It seemed like our whole family was getting sick for weeks at a time.
Thankfully, we are all a lot healthier. After three weeks, all the fluid was gone from her ears. And when she gets sick she will get over it in a few days. I don’t have to give her any medications or supplements or take her to the doctor.
Logan is running all the time now. He used to only play baseball because it didn’t involve a ton of running but now he plays tennis, football, and soccer too.
You just want to do whats best for your family, whatever is necessary to get them well.
